🪬Shabbat Bereshit🪬
23 Tishrei 5787 (October 4, 2026)

This week marks a sacred Kabbalistic pivot from intimate divine embrace back into the concrete work of daily creation. On Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah, we absorbed the ultimate light of Yechidah (the soul’s highest point of unity), dancing with the Torah to internalize all the spiritual illumination gathered throughout the High Holy Days. As we step into Parashat Bereshit, that cosmic energy condenses into action through the realm of Malchut (Kingship and Physical Manifestation). The opening word Bereshit reveals that the world was created for the sake of the spiritual beginning—reminding us that our mundane routines are ready to be infused with high consciousness. Think of this week as setting a new divine blueprint into motion: Simchat Torah is the spark of inspiration, while Bereshit is the deliberate, creative speech that brings that vision to life.
