K4A News
Week of 08/10/08
9 Av 5768

Light and darkness, positive and negative...this week we certainly are going to see both of these. We begin the week with Tisha B'Av the most negative day of the year and then, we end the same week with the most positive day of the year. Allow yourself to be open to the flow of divine energy this week. The Kabbalists tell us that even though the 9th of Av (Tisha B'Av) is the most negative, we can reveal great Light, in fact it is on this day that the Mashiach will appear. The 15th of Av is considered the Kabbalistic Valentine's day. The day that there is perfect harmony between the Light and the Vessel. What a great opportunity we have to connect this week on both days. May we all be blessed and given the energy we need to effect the transformation of our ego selves.

                      Shavua tov,

Taking A Break
We will be taking a break until August 22nd. As a result, there will be no newsletter next week. On this week's newsletter and on the Sacred Texts page, you will find the Torah and Zohar portions for this week and the next.

Events
You may notice that there is a gap in events on the RSVP page. This is simply because we wanted to post the High Holy Day schedule since many have asked if we will be offering connections this year. More events will be scheduled soon.

High Holy Day Schedule
We have scheduled 12 connections for the High Holidays (Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur). This is the most important time of the entire Kabbalistic year, so much that we prepare for the Ten Days of Awe every day during the entire month of Elul (Virgo). Click Here to go to our High Holy Day page and RSVP for events.
