K4A News
Week of 06/01/08
27 Iyar 5768

We begin the month of Sivan on Tuesday evening. This is the month of Gemini, the twins. Kabbalah teaches that this month shows us that there are always two sides to life; positive and negative, good and bad, Light and darkness. According to the Ari, both sides exist simultaneously within us. We always are given the opportunity which side to choose and follow. It is important to mention that we should not become discouraged when we give in to the negative side. Transformation is about changing darkness into light. What we seek to do is transform our dark selves, our ego selves in order to reveal the Light. It's about transformation, not perfection. Those who seek perfection become frustrated at never becoming perfect. However, those who seek tranformation are always content because they realize it is a process.
