Today we begin a new month, the month of Nissan. This is the first month of the Kabbalistic calendar and represents newness. The Kabbalists tell us that Ain Sof designed the world in Tishrei and brought it into physical reality in Nissan. This is a month of lovingkindness, a month of compassion. As we prepare ourselves for the energy of Pesach, the ultimate demonstration of the Creator's mercy towards us, we should ask how we can reach out to others. How can we show mercy and lovingkindness? We are reminded by the Kabbalists that Egypt is a code word for EGO. The energy of Pesach gives us total freedom from slavery to our ego nature. But if we hold on to ego, how can we experience freedom? Focus this week on lovingkindness and on how you can practice it towards EVERYONE.

Conferece Calls Return To 9:00 PM!
For a year now, our conference calls have started at 10:00 PM Eastern Time.  We made the change from 9:00 PM last Spring.  It seems that attendance has dropped off somewhat since the time change.  So we took a survey of our list members and the vote was unanimous to return to 9:00 PM.  So beginning this week, our conference calls will be at 9:00 PM Eastern Time, unless otherwise stated.
