Week of 03/09/08
2 Adar II 5768

In two weeks, we will have an opportunity to connect to the energy of the Mashiach.  The Kabbalists say that Purim is the only holiday that will not pass away in the time of Mashiach, every day will be like Purim.  The Ari, Rabbi Isaac Luria, said that the Messiah is a kind of energy that shines on the universe and removes any aspect of negativity completely.  One way we can prepare ourselves is to see, with certainty, that this time will come.  To change our consciousness now.  This past week I was sitting in traffic.  As each car passed me, I looked at each person and saw them as a spark of the one true Light.  How different this made me feel!  This is what Kabbalah is talking about.  Changing our consciousness, how we feel and think, about those who come into our lives or simply pass us along the way.  Now is the time to prepare for Mashiach, for the eternal Purim.  How can we expect change, unless we ourselves change first?
