This week we celebrate Tu B'Shevat, literally the 15th of Shevat.  Known as the New Year of The Trees, the Kabbalists reveal that this is one of the most joyous days of the year.  New Year for the Trees and a mystical new year for us.  Kabbalah teaches that the way we connect to the energy of this day and to the different worlds is through a seder.  Many associate seder with Pesach (Passover), but Tu B'Shevat has its very own.  Adam and Eve chose to have pleasure which simply gratifies the ego, rather than receive pleasure from the Creator.  Blessing and eating fruit in the seder of Tu B'Shevat is our attempt to connect to the Light and correct their mistake.  Correction is part of our mission.  As we correct and learn to share, the Light grows ever brighter in our world.
