On Tuesday, we begin the Festival of Light. We celebrate not
an event from the past, but the energy of miracles which is available
to us at this time each year. The Kabbalists tell us that all
we have to do to connect to this energy is simply light the menorah. We
light the menorah and put it in a window to remind the world that
darkness can indeed be dispelled, obscurity can be illuminated, and
that it is the Light of the Creator that will prevail in the end. Need
a miracle? Light the menorah and allow it to illuminate
the miracles in your life.
