This is the last week of the bitter month, the month without any holidays. It has been a challenge to connect to the Light. There have been distractions and the ego seems to have been working overtime. As we began our Kabbalat Shabbat connection on Friday, I became aware of how the ego distorts our perception of reality. Not that I wasn't aware before, but this was surreal. How it gets the best of us and prevents us from transforming. How it convinces us, though, and how it plays with our feelings to make us think what we see and how we act is real. This line from a song has been my mantra this week: "Nothing's real until you let go completely." When we let go of ego, we are able to see reality.

We will now offer the Weekly Torah Portion (Parshah) in Hebrew/English in PDF format. Each Parshah is broken down into seven portions to be read on each day of the week. Study of The Bahir
We will begin to study the Bahir via conference call on November 20th at 10:00 PM.  These studies will take place on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
