"If I could turn back time...if I could find a way...I'd take back all those words that hurt you..."  This song started going through my head as I sit to write the weekly wisdom.  Elul is our opportunity to turn back time and go back and correct the past.  It is not just the idea of saying "I'm sorry", but it's also the feeling of regret and of genuine love for our neighbor.  Who is our neighbor?  Everyone!  Each person that lives and breathes is your neighbor.  Some of them you get along with and others you don't.  Now is the time to stand up to the ego and get along with others. Now is the moment to turn back time, to find a way to make up for our past negative actions.
