Emotional ups and downs?  Are the waves too high?  Welcome to the month of Tammuz.  The Kabbalists teach us that this month is full of ups and downs because it is ruled by the Moon.  Meditation is one of the best ways to gain control over our emotions.  We should never expect to see visions or get revelations from meditation.  The true purpose is to direct our thoughts and emotions inward and connect to the Light.  How do you feel after meditation?  Relaxed?  Calm?  At peace?  Rejuvenated?  Focused?  If you answered yes to any or all of those, then meditation is working.  Give yourself time this week to meditate.  Don't make it complicated, simple is best.
