Nissan begins on Monday night.  This month is about renewal and freedom.  Kabbalah teaches that our ego is a kind of prison for our true selves, our soul.  When we allow our ego to dominate, we are prevented from doing what we came to this life to do.  It is no wonder that we often feel imprisoned.  The energy of this month and the holiday of Passover can help us to break free from this prison.  What's interesting is so many don't know they are prisoners.  Many opportunities will arise this new month that will challenge your ego.  The choice is ultimately ours, will we remain imprisoned to selfishness of our ego or will we break free to share the Light with the world?
