The following connections assist us to tap into the energy and Light of Shabbat, an opportunity that is given to us every week. They may be used individually for meditation and prayer when conference calls are not offered.

All of our connections use our very own transliteration style and follow the Nusach Ari (style according to Rabbi Isaac Luria) and Nusach Sefard (Sephardic style). Transliteration Guidelines are found on the second page of each connection.

Please consider making a donation to help us with the time and energy in creating these connections.

Kabbalat Shabbat
Kabbalat Shabbat literally means “to receive Shabbat”. This is the Friday night connection which the Kabbalists instituted to welcome Shabbat. This part of our siddur includes Kabbalat Panim for Shabbat: Candlelighting, the Kabbalistic Mikvah meditation, and songs for Shabbat.

Shabbat Torah Connection
This connection is usually offered on Friday night when there is no Shabbat Morning Connection scheduled. It gives us the opportunity to listen to the reading of the Torah Parashah of the week.
Shabbat Shacharit (Morning)
This connection gives us the opportunity to connect to each of the Upper Worlds during the only day of the week when the spiritual and physical worlds are united. This connection also includes the Torah service in which we read the week's Parshah.
Shabbat Minchah (Afternoon)
The Afternoon Connection is unique and is often not given the importance it is due. At this time, the energy of Shabbat has reached its highest point and the Kabbalists consider this to be the most important connection of the day. During this connection we read a portion of the upcoming week's Torah Parshah.

Havdalah Connection
The connection marks the end of Shabbat and the beginning of a new week.

K4A Shabbat Siddur Binder Cover
You may wish to print the above connections and keep them in a binder.  They fit nicely in a 1-inch white binder with clear sleeves for the cover, where you can insert the cover page.  It is also a good idea to use sheet protectors to protect the pages and make it more like a book.
