Sukkot allows us to experience our vunerability and dependence
on the Creator. It is also a time of thanksgiving for the harvest
and a return to nature. During the seven days of Sukkot we
connect to the energy of Chesed, which is mercy. We have been
on an intense journey through the month of Elul and through
the Ten Days of Awe. A journey that has not always been easy
as we had to confront past negative actions. Kabbalah teaches
that we now have a new lease on life and that is cause for
rejoicing.
