Every day during the Counting of The Omer, there is a specific S’firah to which we connect and hope to correct. The Counting of The Omer is the tool that can assist us through these 49 days between Pesach and Shavuot, it is a specific channel of connection to the Light.  During the Counting of The Omer, it is a time of judgment.  Lag B’Omer (the 33rd Day of the Omer) is a break in the negativity and the Light begins to return as the judgement period ends. Lag B’Omer and Shavuot are parallel to each other, however Lag B’Omer is on a higher level. It is the receiving of the inner aspect of the Torah and its soul, whereas Shavuot is the receiving of the external aspect of Torah in the physical realm.

During Lag B'Omer, we should meditate on a portion of the Zohar throughout the night.  This along with meditations and other blessings connects us to the energy of this holiday.

We will hold a special Lag B'Omer connection via conference call during the night beginning at 11:00 PM ET on Thursday, May 22, 2008.
